Growing up so fast....

Hello Family and Friends~
Hope this long overdue blog finds you well. It's getting harder and harder to find the time to type anything in here. I promise I'll get to it monthly at least!

Grandma Lois has been here since January 18th. They are having lots of fun together! She is doing great with him and it made my transition back to work easier.

Sam is 18.5 lbs already. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. He no longer likes to be cradled like a baby - he likes to sit on laps or be held like a big boy. It's awesome that he is so healthy - but I do miss the cuddles already. I sometimes just let him nap in my arms for hours just to get that cuddle time in.

Two Months Old...

Hi all -
We have been up to all kinds of things since my last post. My sister Jodi and the family came to town on Christmas Day. We went to ASU, Tempe Marketplace, dog races and the boys got in a few golf rounds. We rang in the new year a little crazy this year - we ordered pizza and stayed home. That's how we usually prefer to do it anyway!

My family left on New Year's Day and Chad and I just relaxed on the first. Our friends came over again on Friday night for a small gathering with the babies. They both are growing so much it's crazy! Sam was really checking Penny out when I was holding her. I think he thinks she is pretty. = )

We went to the two month visit on Monday for vaccinations but they had to postpone the vaccinations as they were out of one of the shots and were having trouble getting through to our new insurance. We have rescheduled the shot appointment - but they went through with the routine visit. It is no wonder mommy's back hurts sometimes after carrying him. Sam tipped the scales at 15.3 lbs and was 24 3/4 inches long!
